Twice we set out among the Norwegian fjords between Stord and Fitjar, Norway.
Aboard Alhena, a wooden Laurin Koster built in Sweden in 1953, we set sail once at sunset and into the night, and a second time midday. The wind was unfortunately lacking on our first trip, so we didn’t actually sail during our sunset trip, but we had better luck about a week later when we headed out midday.

Many thanks goes out to our Norway Airbnb host and new friend Davide for inviting us along for both rides!

With past sailing experience, Ian’s pretty good at this sailing thing.
